PassMeFast is an intensive driving school with a difference. Our philosophy is that the road to your licence doesn’t need to be a long one. We specialise in beating DVSA waiting times for theory and practical tests by weeks or even months.
Intensive driving courses are our area of expertise. As heard on radio, with one of our intensive courses, you could get up to test standard in just days rather than months—even if you're a beginner. The structure of our courses means you don’t have to worry about forgetting your newly-gained skills – you’re constantly building up your knowledge over the period of the course. What’s more, we always aim to book you a practical test taking place as soon as possible after the end of your course. This means you’ll have all the experience you need for the test – and you won’t be left waiting around. To learn more about how our courses work, check out our guide to intensive courses.
We cover selected areas across the north of England. When you book a course in these areas, you'll be assigned a dedicated PassMeFast instructor who we've personally evaluated and who meets our high standards.
At the moment, it's only possible to book full courses within our coverage area. However, we can still help you to secure a fast-track practical test at any test centre in the UK. We're always expanding to new areas, so make sure you watch this space to check whether you're covered!
If you're unsure as to whether we cover your area, or want a little more information or help, don't hesitate to get in touch!
If you live outside PassMeFast's coverage area, you won't be able to book a full course with us. However, we can still help you to get a fast-track practical test at a local test centre. Simply let us know which times, dates and test centres are suitable for you, and we'll book you a test centre to meet your requirements—and, of course, to beat the DVSA waiting times. Contact us on 0333 123 4949 or visit our fast-track practical test page to book your test!

Unlike some other crash course providers which only offer a single type of course, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We offer a wide range of courses to suit drivers with any amount of prior experience, even if you’ve never been behind the wheel of a car before. Our full list of courses can be found here.
Here at PassMeFast, we have nine different courses to choose from. You can find full details on all of them by visiting our driving courses rundown. When choosing your course, however, be mindful of your current driving ability and the experience you will need to gain in order to pass your test.
According to the DVSA, it takes an average of 45 hours of driving tuition to get up to test standard. If you are a complete beginner, we would therefore recommend taking one of our longest courses in order to ensure you are adequately prepared for the test. If you have more driving experience, a shorter course is likely to be more suitable. Our sales team will help you to determine the right course for you.
It’s also possible to take a course assessment with one of our PassMeFast instructors. They will honestly and critically assess your level of driving ability and recommend you an appropriate number of course hours in order to get you up to the required standard to pass your test. You can book a course assessment with us for just £20.
You can pay for your PassMeFast course via:
You can also pay for your course in instalments through Payl8r. Choosing this option allows you to spread the cost of your course over up to 12 months.
PassMeFast does not accept payments in cash. All payments for your course must be made directly to us; we will never ask you to pay your instructor in cash.
No. You only need to pay an initial deposit of £150 to book any PassMeFast course. It's then up to you to decide whether you want to pay the remaining balance straight away, pay in full at a later date, or spread the cost over a period of up to 12 months by paying in instalments through Payl8r.
The due date for full payment of your balance varies by course. If your course includes a theory test, then your balance will normally be due as soon as you have passed. Otherwise, your course will normally be due once we have booked you a suitable practical test. Paying later than these dates is acceptable, but all courses must be paid in full at least 7 days before the first lesson starts.
Yes! We offer our courses in both manual cars. Please note, however, that pricing for courses taken in automatic cars may differ from our normal rates.
Nervous drivers are welcome at PassMeFast. Our instructors have years of experience, are specialised in intensive driving, and are DVSA-approved. Their friendly and patient approach to driving tuition should help you feel more at ease behind the wheel.
Our courses are accelerated, but never rushed. You can be confident that our PassMeFast instructors will pay careful attention to your progress and will help you become a safe and confident driver. Don’t worry – you’re in good hands.
If you need to upgrade your course to include more hours, this may be possible. You must, however, give adequate notice, and any rescheduling is on the basis of instructor availability. Downgrading of courses is not permitted.
Our range of courses are designed to get learners up to test standard—no matter how much experience they’ve previously had. Your instructor will adapt their teaching to focus on the areas you need to work on—helping brand new drivers take the wheel for the first time, and helping more experienced learners to iron out any difficulties they’re experiencing.
If you have booked a practical test as part of your PassMeFast course, then this will be included within your course hours as the final hour of your course. So, for example, when you book a 5 hour course with PassMeFast, this will include 4 hours of tuition plus your practical test.
The final hour of your PassMeFast course will be saved for the practical test as standard. For example, our 48 hour course includes 47 hours of lessons, plus the practical test as your final hour.
At the moment, PassMeFast does not offer a guaranteed pass with our courses. However, our pass rate is above the national average, meaning that by choosing PassMeFast, you’ve got a great chance of getting your licence—fast.
No! Our courses are flexible and can be structured to suit your needs. Whilst the standard structure of our courses includes 5 hours of lessons per day, you are free to do your course in a way that fits your schedule. Check out our guide to semi-intensive driving courses to learn more.
Yes! If you have a tight schedule, it’s possible to arrange your course to take place on weekends only. Just discuss your availability with your PassMeFast instructor, who will work to create a course schedule that suits you.

Yes! Our instructors are usually able to make pickups and drop-offs at locations to suit you.
Yes! We offer Pass Plus courses for just £175. This course can be taken once you've already passed your practical test, and can help you build your confidence in six key areas of driving that reflect the way you'll be using the road every day. Check out our guide to Pass Plus for more information about what you'll learn on this course.
No – you can book a PassMeFast course without having passed your theory. You must, however, have passed your theory test before you can take a practical test. PassMeFast can book your theory for you as part of your course for an additional cost of £30.
Yes! PassMeFast specialise in finding driving test cancellations. This means that we can help you change your practical test to an earlier date and pass weeks or even months ahead on standard waiting times.
PassMeFast guarantee that we’ll beat standard DVSA waiting times for tests. We do this by finding cancellations. As such, we are unable to give exact dates upon booking. However, we will always try to find a suitable test for you that takes into account your preferred time, date, and location.
Weekend tests are much harder to come by than weekday tests. As such, it may not always be possible for us to book your test on a weekend—though we will always endeavour to do so if this is your preference.
Please note that weekend tests are slightly more expensive than weekday tests. If your test takes place on a weekend, you will therefore have to pay an additional fee of £13.
Unfortunately, we don't offer extended tests currently.
If you have any special requirements, please get in contact with us directly so that we can properly assess whether we are able to help you.
If you don’t pass, don’t worry! We have a number of options available to help make sure you get your licence next time around. We offer a 10% discount on any of our standard courses if you rebook with PassMeFast. If you wish, we can also guarantee that you can take your new course with the same instructor or at the same test centre.
Yes! For a cost of just £30, PassMeFast can also book your theory test at a time and location to suit you. This means that you can avoid having to search for or change your theory test, and can simply sit back, relax, and focus on revising for it!
At PassMeFast, we’re experienced at finding driving test cancellations. This is where someone else has cancelled their driving test, freeing up an earlier slot than is normally available. These appointments are usually only available for a matter of moments, so we keep an eye out for them at all times.
Availability for tests depends on where you’d like to take your test, the times and dates when you’re free to take it, and the length of your driving course. If you’re flexible with when and where you’re able to take your course, it’s usually possible to get you a test within just a few weeks. If you’re only free at very specific times, or you’re taking a very long course, then you may have to wait a little bit longer. Call us on 0333 123 4949 for a more exact estimate of your test dates.
Whilst the DVSA allows students to take practical tests in their own car, PassMeFast does not presently allow our pupils to do so. This is to ensure that any unforeseen issues with your car do not prevent you from being able to take your practical test.
It’s normal to have some last-minute nerves, but if your instructor advises you that you’re not test ready, then we can move your test back, giving you more time. As long as you give us three clear working days before your test, we can change your test date for an admin fee of just £35.
Check out our resources page to find helpful hints and tips to give you that extra confidence boost you need to be completely test-ready. We've also compiled some great sources of information from the DVSA themselves, in addition to some handy apps, so you can brush up on your driving knowledge on-the-go.
When you book a course with us, you’ll be assigned a PassMeFast instructor. Each of our instructors has years of experience in professional driving tuition and all of them are DVSA-approved. Our instructors are friendly and reliable, and boast excellent pass rates.
PassMeFast will always aim to find you a local, experienced and DVSA-approved driving instructor. Your course will always be taught on a one-to-one basis, to ensure that you have the instructor’s full attention for the entirety of your course. For more information about our instructors, click here.
Our PassMeFast instructors have a wide range of cars; which car you are taught in depends which instructor is assigned to you. If you have a preference for which make or model of car you learn in, please let us know when you book your course.
At PassMeFast, our fleet of high-grade, DVSA-approved instructors have helped hundreds of learners to become safe, confident drivers. As a result, they're in very high demand throughout the year. Because of this, it is not normally possible to change instructor once you've already started your course.
However, we appreciate that, in a small minority of cases, a pupil may be assigned an instructor that isn't a good fit. In the unlikely scenario that any major issues arise relating to an instructor, we will work closely with the pupil to seek a suitable resolution, including the possibility of changing to a different instructor.
