Here at PassMeFast, we know that no two learners are the same. That's why we ensure that all of our driving courses reflect the fact that everyone is looking for something slightly different, depending on their personal circumstances. You certainly won't find a one-size-fits-all approach here!

Think of our crash course packages as the learner driver version of a pick'n'mix. We offer all of the various components, you select the parts you want, and we combine them into a course designed just for you. It's not as tasty as a collection of your favourite sweets, but it's far more beneficial!

To find your perfect route to passing, design your own driving course by following the steps laid out below...

Location, location, location

The thing we need to know straight off the bat is: where are you? More specifically, think about where you would like your driving course to be based. It might be where you live, work or just an area you feel comfortable driving around.

Using this information we can then contact our instructors in your chosen vicinity and start looking into test availability at nearby centres. Of course, if you already have specific test centres in mind, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes!

Speaking of test centres, on our website you'll find complete guides to all of the theory and practical test centres we cover. They include lots of handy information like wait times, directions, pass rates and more! Don't get too overwhelmed by your options—they're not all required reading. Just have a look at the centres in your local area if you're struggling to come to a decision.

If you live somewhere that's not quite in our catchment area, you could either wait until we come to you (we're always expanding to new counties!) or see if it's possible to travel to an area we do cover. Only go for the latter if it's not too much bother—the last thing we want is for your driving experience to become a logistical nightmare!

To gear or not to gear...

A manual gear stick

Next up it's time to pick your transmission—will it be manual or automatic? Which type of car is best is an age old debate that we're not going to wade into here, but we have weighed up the pros and cons in past articles.

For those who don't have their heart set on either one, we'd recommend sticking with manual. It just means that more instructors will be available to you and a manual licence allows you to drive both manual and automatic cars (which is not the case with an automatic licence).

If you do want to skip gear changes, though, we can sort that out too. Just request automatic over manual and your wish is our command!

The right instructor

A really important aspect of your driving course is who is going to be teaching you. Think about whether you have any preferences when it comes to instructors. Now, don't get too carried away—we can't let you pick eye colour, height, star sign, or anything like that!

We are interested in your gender preference, though. Some people may feel more comfortable with a female instructor, for instance, and we will scour our large fleet to find someone who meets your requirements.

Getting testy

As you probably know by now, PassMeFast has courses for all kinds of learners. Some are aimed at those just starting out in the driving game and others will be suitable for seasoned pros who are right on the brink of qualification. Similarly, some may have the theory test in the bag, while others might not even have heard of the highway code yet! As a result, you have the option to pick which tests you'd like us to organise.

That's right—we do all of the boring admin side of things for you! So, just let us know if you need a theory test, practical test or both, and we'll use our fast-track system to skip long wait times and snag you the best deal.

Pick a number

And now for the biggie—how many hours of tuition do you require? We have 9 options ranging from 10 hours to 48 hours. You can find a helpful description of each on the course section of the PassMeFast website.

If you're not sure what to go for and need some extra advice, have a go on our course recommender. It's quick, free and easy to use. All you need to do is answer a couple of questions related to your driving history (or lack thereof) and it will point you in the right direction!

Is it all getting a bit intense?

PassMeFast may specialise in intensive courses, but we appreciate that this speedy approach might not be for everyone. Like we said, it's all about catering to your individual needs. Intensive courses tend to involve lessons up to 5 hours long completed over a short period of time (days or weeks, rather than months), swiftly followed by the practical test.

If that sounds a little too daunting, we also provide the option of a semi-intensive course. It's far from a snail's pace, but you won't be rushing through everything, either.

Our courses are created to be flexible and fit around your schedule. If intensive isn't possible in the free time you have, simply design a course style that matches your availability!

Once all of your preferences have been noted, there's just a quick flick of the PassMeFast magic wand and you'll be presented with your very own tailor-made driving course. All that's left to do is hit the road!

Now, while this amount of control and choice sounds great to some people, we get that others might be put off by having to make so many decisions. So, if you'd rather someone else helped you out and checked the relevant boxes for you, just give our team a quick ring and they'll get it sorted! Call us on 0333 123 4949 and we can get the ball rolling.

The process of designing your own driving course is simple, satisfying and (most importantly) effective. No matter how you go about it, we're sure that by the end you'll have created a driving masterpiece!
