Intensive Driving Courses in Wandsworth

Choosing a driving school can be tough. Some take things really slow, offering you only one hour per week—meaning it can take over a year to get your licence! Meanwhile, others assume you’ll be able to find one week of free time in the middle of your busy schedule to do everything in a 5 day period. It’s just that they forgot to mention one little thing—you’ll have to wait around for another month or so to do your practical test.

Want to avoid all of that? Come to PassMeFast. We offer intensive driving courses that fit around your life. Read on to learn more about how you can book a course with us in Wandsworth and pass your test in just a few weeks.

Clutch control driving you cuckoo? Gear changes grinding you down? Want a smoother way to get around in the inner city? Automatic lessons could be the answer.

Learning to drive in an automatic car means no gears and no clutch pedal. This doesn’t make it an ‘easy option’—there’s certainly no guaranteed pass to be had here. Practical Driving Test Centres in Wandsworth

Take a look at any map of the practical test centres in Greater London and one fact will jump out: the DVSA have avoided siting any test centres in inner London. There are good reasons for this: busy road conditions here mean that you may well end up spending more time sat in traffic than driving, especially if you’re taking an 8am driving test at rush hour! For this reason, you’ll need to head a little further south to take your test; the closest centre is at Morden. Don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with the location at the moment: your instructor will show you around in good time.

Theory Test Centres in Wandsworth

The DVSA have much more freedom with where they can place theory test centres, and, as such, you can find these in both inner and outer London. This means that, although there are none in Wandsworth itself, you won’t need to travel too far to get to your nearest—depending on your location, you may either be heading south-west to Kingston upon Thames, or east along the South Bank to Southwark.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

You can book a PassMeFast course whether or not you already have a valid theory test pass. However, you must have already passed your theory test before you can book a practical test. For this reason, we encourage all our students to add a theory test onto their course if they haven’t passed yet. For a fun bit of extra prep, take our theory test quiz—and be sure to get revising!

Driving Around Wandsworth

It goes without saying that the roads in this corner of inner London can be busy, especially on routes heading into the centre. Stretches of the South Circular Road also run through Wandsworth, as well as the A3, large sections of which form an urban clearway. When practising manoeuvres, however, such as pulling up on the right, you’re more likely to head to one of the more residential parts of Wandsworth—these car-lined streets will certainly test your observation skills!

Map of Wandsworth within Greater London

Though you may not be able to take your test in Wandsworth, the competences you’ll be tested on—such as showing good judgement, knowledge of sequences like MSPSL, and ability to respond properly to developing hazards—will apply on any road up and down the country.
