Booking Intensive Driving Lessons in London

Getting your licence with PassMeFast begins by choosing an intensive or semi-intensive course. Yes, unlike some other driving schools' crash courses, we have more to offer than a bog-standard hourly rate, and far more flexibility than a one-size-fits-all package. Visit our prices page, and you’ll see options for beginners, experienced learners, and everyone in between. Plus, you can take any of our courses in either a manual or an automatic!

After booking in, it’s over to us to get things in order for you. This means sorting out the admin and fast-tracking your test. Thanks to our speedy system, we can help you to get a test that’s weeks or even months earlier than the usual waiting times! After that, you’ll head out with one of our excellent instructors, and work on becoming a confident, skilled driver ahead of your practical.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in London?

While manual cars are often seen as the default choice for learners, they’re not the only option. Automatic cars are, in fact, rising in popularity—and with no clutch pedal nor gears to deal with, it’s easy to see why.

If you’re weighing up whether or not to go auto, be sure to get the facts first. Don’t be fooled into thinking they’re an easy option: their reputation as a ticket to a ‘guaranteed pass’ is vastly overstated. In fact, manual vs automatic pass rate stats show that automatic pass rates are actually lower!

However, if you know that you’re going to be driving almost exclusively in urban areas after passing your test, and you’re looking for a car that makes it a little easier to drive in very slow city traffic, an automatic car could be the way to go.

Whichever way you make your mind up, PassMeFast can help. All of our courses are available in both manual and automatic cars. The decision is up to you!

You’ll also be able to spread your lessons out to fit your schedule. Our twenty-hour course, for example, could be taken over a 5-day period, with 4 hours of lessons per day—or, alternatively, you could take two hours per day over a couple of weeks.

No matter your preferences, you’ll still be able to get your licence well ahead of the usual waiting times, thanks to PassMeFast’s fast-track practical test service. Meanwhile, your lessons will always be taught one-on-one by a local instructor—and you’ll also have a team of people in the PassMeFast office, dedicated to sorting out all the behind-the-scenes work for you.

If you’re looking for a driving school that takes care of the admin and lets you get on with the driving, you don’t have to look far. Come to PassMeFast: call us on 0333 123 4949 to speak to our sales team, or click below to go straight to our online booking form.

Practical Driving Test Centres in London

Considering London is the UK's capital city, it's surprising how few practical driving test centres there are in Central London. If you live in the city centre, your best bet would be the Hither Green (London) test centre. Your driving instructor will probably take you to the test centre, or you can catch the tube to Cannon Street, followed by a train to Orpington. From there, the test centre is a short 8-minute walk away.

Theory Test Centres in London

Similarly to practical test centres, there aren't many theory test centres around Central London either. The closest one is Southwark, which is around a half-hour commute from the city centre. Luckily, London is bursting at the seam with public transport options, so you won't have any trouble finding your way there.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

Your tests must be taken in a specific order: you must pass your theory test before being able to book a practical. Don’t worry, though—even if you haven’t passed your theory yet, you can still book a PassMeFast course! Just be sure to add a theory test onto your booking.

And if you need a hand with your revision, why not add PassMeTheory? You'll be invited to a one-hour group video call with one of our theory experts who will tell you all about how to pass the hardest sections of the test.
