Other driving schools may think it’s acceptable to offer all its learners the same 5 day course—but that’s not our style. Instead, PassMeFast offers nine different driving courses suited to learners with different levels of prior experience. These range from our shortest course, including five hours of lessons, up to our longest, which includes forty-eight. You can see all of them over at our course prices page.

We’ve also shaken things up when it comes to the flexibility of our courses. You won’t need to take one week’s holiday to learn with us! When you book with us, we’ll work with your availability. If you have plenty of free time, you can opt for a fully intensive course—but, if you’re busier (or just want to take things a little easier), semi-intensive options are available too.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Richmond upon Thames

While most outer London boroughs can boast at least one practical test centre, Richmond upon Thames stands as an exception to the rule. For most learners, that means you’ll need to visit neighbouring Hounslow to take your test at the Isleworth (Fleming Way) test centre. A few learners in the far south of the borough (around Hampton Wick) may find Tolworth a better fit instead.

Theory Test Centres in Richmond upon Thames

Without a theory test centre to call its own, learners in Richmond upon Thames will need to head out of the borough to take their test. Rail links to nearby Kingston upon Thames make this the obvious theory test centre of choice for local learners, with the town accessible from across the borough. Be sure to take a look at our debunking of some of the most common theory test myths before you go!

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

You don’t need to have already passed your theory test in order to book a PassMeFast course. However, the DVSA stipulate that you must do so in order to take a practical test. As a result, all students booking with us without having already taken a theory test should add one onto their course.

Driving Around Richmond upon Thames

Fittingly for the only borough which spans the Thames, there’s a real diversity of road conditions to be found in this part of south-west London. Take to the roads which cross the vast Richmond Park, for example, and you’ll need to keep to 20 mph, and make sure you stick your lane on roads which often lack markings. Elsewhere, the borough takes a decidedly more urban feel, and you’ll need to watch out for trouble spots such as the Manor Circus roundabout, or the unusual oval-shaped junction at Richmond Circus.

With no practical test centre here in Richmond upon Thames, though, you’ll also need to become acquainted with the area surrounding your test centre of choice. Your instructor will ensure that you devote some time during your lessons to doing just that, ensuring that you’re confident on tackling the local roads and won’t be tripped up by any unexpected quirks. With PassMeFast, you’re in good hands.
