Arriving at Leeds Theory Test Centre

By public transport

Given its city centre location, it’s no surprise that Leeds theory test centre has great transport links. It’s a very quick 5-minute walk from Leeds train station and a 13-minute walk from Leeds Coach Station.

If buses are more your thing, you’re in luck! Leeds is a big city, so buses are in abundance. The closest bus stop to the test centre is Civic J (Stop R7). This is right outside the test centre, so you can hop off the bus and head straight inside.

For more information on transport times and routes, consult the Leeds City Council website.

By car

Planning to get there by car? Tap LS1 2BH into your trusty satnav and hit the road. We’d advise avoiding this journey during rush hour. If you don’t have much of a choice, leave yourself plenty of extra time to make up for the traffic!

Parking

The theory test centre itself does not provide on site parking, but you’re in a major city so there are plenty of other options. Don’t expect them to be cheap, though! In terms of convenience, we’d go for The Light car park, which charges £6.80 for 2 hours and is a 6-minute walk from where you’ll be taking the test. With 402 spaces available you’ll be extremely unlucky not to get a spot.

Pass Rates by Year

It’s also important to remember that pass rates don’t really mean anything for learner drivers. After all, no matter where you go, you’ll be sitting the same test!
