Arriving at Bradford Theory Test Centre

By public transport

Bradford theory test centre is located in the middle of two major railway stations. This is handy because it means it’s accessible for people coming from different directions. If you’re arriving from the northwest side of Bradford, we recommend getting off at Bradford Forster Square. From here it will be just a 5-minute walk to the station. Alternatively, if you’re heading up from the south, Bradford Interchange will be your best bet. Once you disembark, it’s a 10-minute walk to the test centre.

Heading to the centre by bus? No problem. Westgate, Manor Row and John Street are all bus stops within walking distance to your test. From more detailed information on local transport, including timetables, head over to the Bradford Council website.

By car

You can also, of course, reach the test centre by car. Just type BD1 3NU into your sat nav and follow the instructions. Depending on the direction you’re coming from, you may eventually find yourself on the A6181. From here, it’s simply a case of exiting at Prince's Way and then following the signs to Upper Piccadilly.

Parking

Street parking is available within a short walk to the Bradford centre. You’ll have to get there early to secure a spot and prices are only available on the day from the pay and display machine. However, this is undoubtedly the most convenient option.

If you don’t manage to nab a space outside the centre, Manor Row car park is only a 5-minute walk away. Here you’ll be charged a very reasonable £1 for 2 hours of parking.

Pass Rates by Year

As you can see, Bradford’s pass rate has been a bit up and down. It currently stands below the national average, but this should not put you off taking your test here! All centres provide exactly the same theory test and their pass rates simply reflect the success of the people who happen to select that centre. In other words, your result is down to you and you only!
