Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Norwich?

In a busy city like Norwich, you might often find yourself in stop-start traffic. This is where constant clutch control and gear changes can come into play, which can be downright infuriating. To dodge these, consider learning in an automatic. All of our courses can be taken in an auto, so you can pass fast with either gearbox!

During your course, your instructor will ensure that you gain as broad a range of driving knowledge as possible, from dealing with emergency vehicles to the differences between city and country driving. In doing so, you’ll gradually become a confident motorist, with the abilities required for a lifetime on the road.

Our intensive driving courses have been creating safe drivers for years, with thousands already having passed with us. Isn’t it time you joined them? To get things started, call us on 0333 123 4949, or book your course online now.

Practical driving test centres in Norwich

There’s no way to be completely sure of a guaranteed pass on the practical test, but you can give yourself a leg-up by ensuring you know the local test centre like the back of your hand. Norwich has two options: one on Jupiter Road to the north of the city, and one on Peachman Way on its eastern outskirts. If you live a little closer to the coast, then check out Lowestoft Mobbs Way.

Theory test centres in Norwich

Maybe we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves with all that talk of the practical test. If you’ve still got the theory to take care of, then you’ll be happy to know that the Norwich theory test centre is right in the city centre. Other options elsewhere in Norfolk can be found in the towns of Cromer and Dereham. Still preparing for the test? Take a look at our guide covering when to use dipped or full beam headlights.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

No matter what stage of preparation you’ve reached, you might be seeing signs you're not ready for your theory test. If that’s the case, we advise more revision to ensure that you ace your test first time around. Another good piece of advice is to add your theory test onto your PassMeFast booking. That way, we can schedule it for you, taking a load off your mind.

Do driving instructors have to have dual control?

A driving instructor doesn't legally need to have dual controls fitted to their car, but it's rare that you'll find an instructor without them. As you're learning to drive, it's likely that your instructor will need to intervene at some point, and having dual controls fitted to the car makes this much easier.

The only time an instructor is legally required to have dual controls fitted is if you're doing driving lessons on a motorway. This won't form part of your driving test, but still a really useful skill to practice with an instructor. You'll definitely be glad you did it when it comes to hitting the motorway after passing your driving test.
