If you’re arriving in Chesterfield by train, from Chesterfield station it’s a very simple 5-minute walk across some main roads to get to the test centre. Or, for maximum convenience, you could take a bus. From the Stephenson Place bus stop you need only walk for 1 minute before you arrive at your final destination!

Those who’ve managed to find someone nice enough to drive them to their test just need to remember the postcode S41 7TP. With that info and the help of a sat nav, you should have no problem finding the test centre.
Chesterfield theory test centre sits just to the side of the A61 (Rother Way). Exit this road at either the A632 or Brewery Street to make your way to Corporation Street.
As per usual, the theory test centre does not provide parking. Don’t scrap your plans to get a lift just yet though. There are a few car parks nearby that offer reasonable rates and a good chance of an empty parking spot.
The closest option is Theatre Lane car park (S41 7TP), which is only a minute away from the test centre and charges a very affordable £2.70 for 2 hours of parking.
