A Bit More About Montrose

Your driving test will begin on the roads around the centre of Montrose itself. Due to how compact the roads are, you’ll have quite the challenge navigating around parked vehicles whilst meeting oncoming traffic. The town itself is relatively small, so you likely won’t spend much time in the area during your test.

Instead, your examiner will have you flexing your driving skills further afield. Where you end up, however, depends entirely on your randomly selected test route. You might head north on the A92 towards St Cyprus, south across the River South Esk, or even east towards Brechin. Given that the test only lasts forty minutes, however, you won’t get too far away from Montrose.
