PassMeFast are on a mission to prove that learning to drive can be fast and fit around your schedule. Interested in finding out how? Read on to learn more about our crash courses, and what we can offer learners in the Gravesend area.
When you’re learning to drive, there are plenty of reasons to choose intensive courses over hourly lessons. However, you shouldn’t just go with any intensive driving school. Instead, go with a company that offers you speed and flexibility, alongside top-class service: PassMeFast.
What makes us different? It’s simple: while others force every learner into the same 5-day course, we give you choice. Choice between our eight different courses. Choice between manual and automatic transmission. And choice between a fully intensive driving course or a semi-intensive structure—meaning you can pass fast on even the busiest schedule.
Automatic cars may not have pass rates matching those of manual cars (don’t believe your friend who thinks they’re a ticket to a guaranteed pass!), but their lack of a clutch pedal and gear stick means that many learners do find them easier to drive. If you’re interested in taking your lessons in an automatic, we can help: all of our courses are available in both transmission options.
All of our courses come with a fast-track practical test included as standard, and our driving lessons are taught by high-grade, DVSA-registered instructors. You’ll even have your very own Booking Agent sorting out all the admin for your course, allowing you to focus on what’s important: the driving itself.
The road to driving doesn’t have to be long. Book in with us over the phone on 0333 123 4949, or online by clicking the button below, and you could have your licence within weeks.

Gravesend is in a fairly unique situation when it comes to practical test centres. The closest test centre as the crow flies is Tilbury in Essex—but there’s a snag here: there’s a river in the way. This gives you the options of taking a ferry to your test (an interesting way to arrive), driving all the way around to the Dartford Crossing (lengthy, and with tolls), or choose a different test centre. We’d recommend that local learners take the shorter trip to the Gillingham test centre instead.
And did you know almost 9 in 10 people pass their driving test in the first three attempts? That’s why we’ve introduced PassProtect — giving you three attempts for the price of one.
When it comes to the theory test, learners in the Gravesend area have a couple of options. One is to head east along the Kent coast towards Chatham, which is around 18 minutes away by train. Alternatively, you can travel in the opposite direction towards the Sidcup theory test centre in Greater London. It’s a short journey, but just long enough to read some of our last-minute theory test tips!
PassMeTheory is an online theory revision session, where we go over the most difficult areas of the test. 9 out of 10 people said they felt more confident about their test after their session.
Don’t forget that you’ll need to pass your theory test before you’re able to book a practical! Add a theory test onto your course, and we’ll arrange it for you at a test centre to suit you—and we can even fast-track your test to take place ahead of the usual waiting times!
When it comes to driving, local knowledge is power—and so, when you’re taking your practical test, it’s always good to have previous experience on the roads likely to appear on your test route. Given that Gravesend doesn’t have its own test centre, this means you’ll need to spend some of your lesson time in the town where your practical test is due to take place, to ensure you’ve got a solid handle on the local roads.
Don’t be too put off by the prospect of heading out on unfamiliar streets, though—while the roads on which you take your test may not come up in your everyday driving, the skills you hone over the course of your lessons will certainly come in handy every time you get behind the wheel. Once your course is complete, you’ll be feeling ready not only to take on the roads around your test centre of choice, but any road in the country.
