By public transport
Let’s start with how you get to the test centre. You should have no problem travelling to the test centre by public transport. From Saxmundham train station it’s only a 3-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can get the bus and disembark at the Waitrose bus stop. This stop is roughly a 2-minute stroll from the theory test centre.
By car
You might also have the option of arriving at your theory test by car. If someone you know is driving you, or you get a taxi, let them know that the postcode of your destination is IP17 1AF.
Parking
You may see a car park right outside the test centre but, sadly, this is not for visitor use. On the plus side, there are some extremely affordable options nearby.
Market Place car park (IP17 1AG), for instance, provides you with 2 hours of parking for just £1! It will take you around 3 minutes to walk from here to the test centre.

It’s really important that you revise for the theory test. That means understanding the format of the test and revising all of the relevant material so that you are able to correctly answer the multiple choice questions and ace the hazard perception test. After all, you need a pass mark on both sections to earn that certificate!
