By public transport
A very attractive aspect of this particular theory test centre is that it is super easy to get to by public transport. Those arriving by rail, for instance, need only walk for 7 minutes from Kings Lynn train station to reach their destination.
There’s also the option of the bus. Hop off at Transport Interchange bus station and it’s a nice and easy 5-minute stroll to the theory test centre. How’s that for convenience?!

By car
Some learner drivers manage to find someone who will drive them to their theory test, saving them the hassle of navigating public transport. If this describes you, make sure you know the postcode of the test centre (PE30 1BP) as this will allow you to get directions from a sat nav or your phone.
Parking
As is often the case with theory test centres, the Kings Lynn branch does not offer any onsite parking for visitors. That means that if the person who drove you to your test needs to leave their car in the area for a while, they’ll need to find parking somewhere else. We’ve gone to the trouble of finding the nearest available options for you…
The most convenient is likely to be Baker Lane car park (PE30 1HY), which is a 2-minute walk away and charges £3.10 for 2 hours of parking. It has 85 spaces. If you don’t manage to get a spot there, head instead to the Saturday Market Place car park (PE30 5DQ). It’s still only a 4-minute walk away and costs exactly the same price, but with fewer spaces.
A quick glance at the Kings Lynn theory test centre’s pass rates from the last few years may not necessarily fill you with confidence. The figures are a bit up and down, but they seem to be improving.
What you need to remember, though, is that the theory test is basically the same wherever you take it! In all honesty, these figures are no indication of how well you personally are likely to do if you sit your theory test here. The end result is all down to how much preparation you do beforehand!

By preparation, we mean studying. The theory test is not necessarily hard, but it certainly isn’t a walk in the park. The questions delve into some pretty in-depth driving knowledge and the hazard perception test takes some practice to master.
