Booking Intensive Driving Lessons in Salford

Wouldn’t it be nice if an intensive driving school offered lessons that fit around your schedule, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all, one week course? Thankfully, there’s one school in Salford that does exactly that: PassMeFast.

With us, you can choose a course length of between 10 and 48 hours—and it’s up to you how to structure it. So, if you were taking our 25-hour course, for example, you could take 5 hours per day over a 5 day period, or spread your lessons out around your schedule. Fully intensive or semi-intensive: it’s your choice.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Salford?

When you’re driving in a city like Salford, traffic jams are often, sadly, a fact of life. With this in mind, it’s no wonder that automatic cars—which make stop-start traffic much smoother to drive in—have become more popular.

If you’re interested in taking automatic lessons in Salford, you’re in luck, as PassMeFast offer courses in both manual and automatic cars. For full details, check out our guide to automatic driving lessons in Greater Manchester.

Be aware, though, that you can’t get a guaranteed pass from switching to automatic—the test is just as hard for both sets of learners.

When you book a PassMeFast course, you’ll get one-on-one lessons with a DVSA-approved driving instructor, as well as a fast-track practical test that helps you dodge the long waiting times. So, if you want a quick way to get your licence that won’t make you jump through hoops, PassMeFast is the perfect choice.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Salford

Salford’s practical test candidates may wish to head to the local test centre at Salford Fire Station. Be aware, however, that the test centre is currently subject to temporary closure—and that, even when open, Salford’s test centre had limited operating hours compared to other test centres in Greater Manchester. Consider other local options, such as Cheetham Hill and Sale.

Theory Test Centres in Salford

You won’t have anywhere near as much trouble taking your theory test in Salford: there’s a theory test centre conveniently located in Salford Quays. Alternatively, you may wish to head to Manchester, Bolton or Stockport to take your theory test, instead. Already passed? Why not take a look at our thoughts on what the theory test will look like in 20 years?

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

Make sure to book your theory test as part of your course if you haven’t yet passed—and to practice both parts of the test. For tips, check out our guide to passing the hazard perception test.

Driving Around Salford

Taking driving lessons in Salford means you’ll encounter busy, urban conditions, as well as having to deal with quieter residential areas. Don’t be fooled into thinking that residential areas are easier, though—with cyclists and pedestrians on the road, you’ll still need to have a keen sense of hazard perception here.

During your course, you’ll not only gain more driving skills, but become vastly more confident behind the wheel—even if you’re learning to drive with anxiety. By the time you come around to taking your test, you’ll be ready to pass with flying colours.
